I. Scope and Basis of the Contract
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the letting of workers’ accommodation, apartments and similar accommodation between My Home & More GmbH (hereinafter “we” or “us”) and the respective customer (hereinafter “Customer”). The Customer may be either a private individual or a business. These GTC apply to all guest accommodation, rental and lodging contracts, as well as all associated services and supplies provided by My Home & More GmbH. Any deviating terms and conditions of the Customer shall only apply if we have expressly accepted them in writing.
The current version of these GTC is published on our website www.myhomeandmore.de/agb and may be viewed or downloaded there at any time. By making a reservation or providing written confirmation by email, the customer accepts these General Terms and Conditions.
Subletting or subleasing, as well as the use of the accommodation for purposes other than those agreed, requires our prior written consent. Occupancy is permitted exclusively for the persons previously registered. Visits by external persons are not permitted.
II. Conclusion of Contract
Our offers are subject to change. The contract is concluded upon our written acceptance (usually by email) of the reservation made by the customer. If a third party (e.g. a company) acts on behalf of the customer, the customer and the third party shall be jointly and severally liable for all obligations arising from the contract. Upon conclusion of the contract, both parties are obliged to fulfil the agreed services.
III. Prices, Payment and Deposit
All prices are quoted in euros and include the applicable statutory value added tax, unless otherwise stated. The total amount is payable in full upon handover of the keys at the latest, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In the event of late payment, statutory default interest shall apply in accordance with Section 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Following a reminder, we are entitled to terminate the contract for cause.
We may require a reasonable advance payment or deposit upon conclusion of the contract or thereafter. The amount and due date shall be agreed in writing. The deposit shall be refunded following the proper handover of the accommodation and inspection for any damage, at the latest within 14 days of departure. Set-off is only permitted against undisputed or legally established claims.
IV. Withdrawal / Cancellation by the Customer
A reservation is considered binding upon written confirmation. Withdrawal (cancellation) must be made in writing by email. The date on which we receive the cancellation is decisive.

V. Withdrawal by the landlord
We are entitled to withdraw from the contract if • an agreed advance payment is not made on time, • force majeure or other circumstances beyond our control render performance of the contract impossible, • the accommodation was booked on the basis of false or misleading information, or • the conduct of the customer or their staff jeopardises the proper operation or reputation of our company. In such cases, the customer shall have no claim for damages, provided that we are not guilty of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
VI. Arrival, Departure and Key Arrangements
Check-in: between 5.00 pm and 9.00 pm (alternative times possible by arrangement).
Check-out: between 10.00 am and 11.00 am. Any stay beyond this time will be charged as a full additional day.
If a member of staff is required due to forgotten keys, a service charge of up to €120 will apply (depending on the effort involved). If keys are lost, the lock cylinder must be replaced. The cost is up to €300 net plus VAT, unless the actual cost is lower. If you fail to vacate the property on time, we reserve the right to exercise our right of access and to arrange for the property to be cleared at your expense.
VII. Cleaning
No final cleaning costs will be charged provided the accommodation is handed over in a clean and tidy condition. This includes: rubbish disposed of, crockery washed, kitchen and sanitary facilities clean, floors swept. During your stay, a full clean can be booked on request at a cost of €180 net. Heavy soiling or special cleaning will be charged according to the actual cost.
VIII. No Smoking, Pets and Renovations
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms. Pets are not permitted unless we have expressly authorised this in writing. In the event of a proven breach of the smoking ban, a flat fee of €1,600 net will be charged. This flat-rate fee covers the average cost of necessary painting work, material costs and odour neutralisation (e.g. ozone treatment). The customer reserves the right to prove that no damage, or only minor damage, has been caused. The customer may only carry out renovation work themselves with our prior written consent.
IX. Customer Liability
The customer is liable for all damage to the accommodation and its contents caused by them, their fellow travellers or visitors. Damage and defects must be reported to us immediately, at the latest upon discovery. A delayed report may lead to a restriction of any claims if it significantly complicates the assessment of the damage.
X. Liability for corporate bookings
If the accommodation is booked by a company, the company shall be deemed the sole contractual partner. The company shall be liable for any damage caused by its employees or guests. We accept no liability for loss of or damage to items brought onto the premises (tools, materials, cash, etc.), unless such loss or damage is due to wilful misconduct or gross negligence on our part. We recommend taking out appropriate public liability or property insurance.
XI. Quiet Hours and House Rules
The statutory quiet hours apply from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am. The customer undertakes to behave considerately towards neighbours and other guests. In the event of repeated disturbance of the peace or breaches of the house rules, we are entitled to exercise our house rules and terminate the stay without notice. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of amounts already paid.
XII. Liability of My Home & More GmbH
We shall be liable with the diligence of a prudent businessman. For damage not involving life, limb or health, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. We shall only be liable for failures of internet, electricity, water or heating insofar as these are attributable to our own fault. Cases of force majeure (e.g. official orders, natural disasters, power cuts) release us from our obligation to perform, insofar as no reasonable alternative measure is possible. Statutory claims for reduction or termination remain unaffected.
XIII. Data Protection

XIV. Final Provisions
Any amendments or additions to these General Terms and Conditions must be made in writing. The place of performance and payment is the respective location of the accommodation. The place of jurisdiction is Ulm, provided the customer is a trader, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law. For consumers, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies. German law applies exclusively. Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Note on booking: Telephone reservations are only considered binding once confirmed in writing by email. Upon receipt of the reservation confirmation, the customer shall have access to the currently valid version of the General Terms and Conditions.
